We are pleased to announce the arrival of a dedicated DESKTOP CNC combining MILL and LATHE operation designed solely for educational and training use.

This means that your students can learn to operate and programme CNC’s in ISO programming or Conversational (ICON) generated programming styles, either in Mill or Lathe configuration, as your training programme requires.

Once your student’s programmes have been generated, they can be checked using Solid or Tool Path graphic simulation on the colour TFT LCD 11” Screen. Once verified, the programme you have generated can be executed on a machine tool via RS232, Windows DNC or (ETHERNET – available April 2003) communication options.

For more in-depth application engineering training the CNC also has an integrated PLC. Programming of the PLC can be developed on the CNC or on a PC. The CNC features an integrated Logic Analyser that provides monitoring of the PLC programme, inputs and outputs.

The above hardware is supplied with a Fagor CD ROM, which contains all the operational and programming manuals for this product. To operate, the training station just needs to be connected directly to a mains power supply.
